Still duct taping your way through warts relief? Well, good luck on that. Worst part about these conventional treatments, like freezing and duct taping, is that there is a high risk of recurrence with the promise that not one, not two but several other warts will pop on the sides. When you have tried everything that you can think of, passive aggressively, then maybe it’s about time to try something that has a 99.9% chance of solving this pestering predicament. Grapefruit seed extract (GSE) – the wonder bottle, may actually save yourself from a lifetime of wart misery.
Instructions before use
There are a couple of things that you have to take into consideration before taking in grapefruit seed extract. First, you have to be aware that GSE has a very bitter, sour taste. Its revolting taste may be one of the reasons while some would want to just cease taking GSE. To manage this concoction, GSE is then advised to be mixed with water or any fruit juice just to mask the taste. But this is just a minor setback as compared to its benefits. Second, there are two variables of GSE – liquid and capsule forms. In treating warts, it is better to use the liquid form since it is better absorbed by the body.
Usage and dosage
There are three ways on treating warts through GSE – through capsule, liquid (both through ingestion) and topical application.
If you opt on drinking a capsule, take a 100 mg GSE three times a day. For liquid usage, five to ten drops of GSE mixed with a glass of your favorite drink (no alcohol and caffeine) is recommended. Fruit drinks are best mixed with GSE. If you wanted to treat warts topically, directly apply at least two to three drops of GSE on the affected area. Do not dilute GSE in any solution if you are opting for the topical treatment. This is to ensure GSE’s potency and effectiveness. After application, cover the affected area with a cotton pad or band-aid. All of these should be done thrice a day. The duration of this treatment regime is two weeks or at least until all warts have been removed.
You can expect to see some positive changes after a couple of days. If after two days you don’t develop any negative symptoms towards the treatment, say for example any allergic reaction, it is safe to increase the frequency from thrice a day to five times a day. This will further provide faster healing.
